Job Summary

We are seeking a Hardware Support Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Miami, FL within a professional legal services environment. This role is ideal for an early-career IT support professional with hands-on hardware field service, desktop support, or technical phone support experience.

The Hardware Support Technician will support end users, install and configure computer and phone equipment, manage video conferencing needs, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a Windows 11 environment. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, delivering excellent customer service, and being part of a collaborative, service-focused IT team.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and configure computer equipment, phone equipment, and related office technology, including site preparation.
- Provide hardware diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and ongoing technical support.
- Troubleshoot and support software issues in a Windows 11 desktop environment.
- Manage and support video conferencing equipment and meeting technology.
- Assist with administrative IT tasks, including physical hardware inventory and software license compliance.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Miami, FL.
- On-call rotation required for after-hours support.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support desktop hardware, phone equipment, and related office technology.
- Provide Windows 11 software support, hardware diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and end-user assistance.
- Support video conferencing systems and meeting technology.
- Assist with IT inventory tracking and software license compliance.

- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hardware field service experience, technical phone support experience, desktop support experience, or equivalent experience.
- Thorough knowledge of hardware products and software capabilities.
- Experience supporting users in a Windows desktop environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to manage priorities in a professional office environment.
- Willingness to answer calls after normal working hours as part of an on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting users in a legal services, professional services, or corporate office environment.
- Familiarity with video conferencing technology and conference room support.
- Experience with hardware inventory processes and software license tracking.
- Ability to provide calm, professional support to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
